Deep Focus is a Chrome extension built by Red Planet Creative that helps you block distracting websites during focus sessions. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is handled.
Deep Focus does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All settings are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync API, which syncs privately across your own Chrome profile.
The following settings are stored locally:
None of this information ever leaves your device or is accessible to Red Planet Creative or any third party.
storage — To save your settings across sessions.
tabs — To detect when you navigate to a blocked site and redirect you to the focus screen.
alarms — To check your schedule once per minute and activate or deactivate blocking at the configured times.
Host permissions (<all_urls>) — Required so the extension can intercept navigation to any domain. No browsing history is recorded or stored.
Deep Focus does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is sold or transferred to any external party.
Deep Focus does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
